Aquarion® model AQ100H130 series adds freeze protection to the AQ100 features as it incorporates an insulating blanket and a 120VAC internal heater thermostatically controlled to 85° Fahrenheit (30° C). Installation by one person is simple and easy. Once installed, the fluid cartridges, hoses and eyewash nozzles remain very accessible for verification of ready to use status.

The yellow outer jacket is made up of a outer PVC coated nylon shell, a inner filling of a fine web of thin insulate material and then finally lined with another PVC liner. These materials help to create an excellent thermal and moisture protection barrier while providing high visibility to the emergency eyewash.

The heater is Class 1, Division 2, Group B,C,D rated and CSA approved. Connection to the 120VAC (240VAC options available) 100 watt heater is to a supplied electrical junction box by a qualified individual.

For areas where plumbed potable water is not available, Encon's 15 minute supply self-contained and portable eyewash stations meet ANSI Z358.1 requirements for eyewash. Encon offers several choices for self-contained eyewash stations including pressurized, gravity fed, and sealed-cartridge portables.

Encon's Aquarion® Self-Contained Eyewash offers a sleek, slim design and an innovative mounting method for use on any wall, tight hallway, column, shelf or cart. Installation to these or almost any other structural support is fast and simple, requiring only one person.

The Aquarion® offers the first sealed flexible cartridge that completely self-evacuates without external forces applied, providing reliable performance when you need it most. It's the ultimate choice in eyewash stations when plumbed, potable water is not available.

Cover

Yellow ABS for protection of fluid bags and internal cavity of station; Side windows for visual inspection of the fluid bags without removal of the cover.

Back Plate

Polycarbonate to support the eyewash station with filled cartridges; Mounting slots spaced to screw to wall studs between 12 and 20 inches apart, a solid bearing frame or by using a retaining strap through molded slots around a support behind the plate formed to fit a 4 to 8 inch wide beam.

Tray & Nozzles

Retracting tray to protect the nozzles from the environment; Single pull down motion pierces seals in the hoses allowing the fluid to flow immediately from the attached nozzles; Collects spent fluid and directs it to an integral drain port for future disposal; Usage indicator tie breaks upon actuation showing that the unit has been used.  Tray stop prevents easy repositioning of tray without service being performed.  Enclosed ABS plastic heads connect to retracting tray; non-injurious, dual stream, of water at 0.4 gpm (1.5 lpm).

Base

Black ABS base slides onto the back plate positioned and held through four retaining hooks, fastened with supplied self-threading bolts if desired; Base provides structure to the station and holds the nozzle tray in an upright, ready to use position.

Fluid Bags

Self-evacuating flexible bags keep the flushing fluid fresh and clean for reliable performance and maintenance free service; Two hand slots allow for easy handling and mounting in the station by one person.  BAGS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY WHEN ORDERING THE AQ100.  Please also order the preserved AQ120 bagssterile AQ110 bags, or the user-filled AQ111 bags.
